Our pilgrimage has been prepared by reading, research, and questioning — all the result of uncertainty:
Do I want to travel to a part of the world where unrest is the norm?
Do I want to be distressed by the commercialism and myth surrounding the life of Jesus? Isn’t what I’ve read in the Bible enough, since my beliefs rest on faith?
Do I really want to “walk where Jesus walked”? Might my attitude be challenged?
All of these doubts have been superseded by the opportunity to travel with a group of 35+ people connected with our church who have similar interests and the excitement to travel to two continents — Asia and Africa where I have never set foot! And I get to be with Chuck.
It will be a pilgrimage, a journey, and a quest!
